Icemaker stopped giving ice

Question

Hi,

My Fridge stopped giving ice although the arm is at "O" position. It happened before and a technician fix it using warm water to melt the ice accumulated in the ice maker, at dried it with a hair dryer. He told me that to fix this problem is very easy, However, the only problem I have now is how to open the icemake withouth damaging it.
