Id cards for army/kids???

i was wondering ..im going to go get my id card on monday..my kids are all 4 yrs and younger ..do i have to take them with me? i know that they dont get an id card till 10yrs but their name is on the DD1172 forms that my husband sent from basic. or do they go under my id???

  1. Mrs. JVB is absolutely correct.  If you can get a babysitter, please do it.    Its boring as all get out for the kids, they try and climb on your head while you get your picture taken, not fun for anyone.  


  2. That form is so you and the kids are covered by Tricare Medical insurance in addition to getting your ID card. Your listed as dependants.

  3. short answer no you do not need to take them with you.  Your ID will be sufficient until they are 10.  

  4. you do not need to bring them.  In fact it's better if you don't.  

  5. I dont think you would have to bring them with you. As long as you have their birth cirtificates and social security cards you should be fine.
