Idea for a documentary?

I have an idea for a documentary, i already started the research process and writing of the script. However, i don't have a team of people to work with. its just me for now. How can i find people that will go along with my project. Should i just start posting fliers at colleges and such?

Fliers may help but keep in mind that winter semester is over so universities will only host a quarter as many classes as normal.  Anyway, that's secondary to your question.

I would post an ad on craigslist saying that you are embarking on a film project and are in need of collaborators.  There are a lot of folks out there with a love for film production who would look forward to opportunities to be involved in a project.  If you are not familiar with craigslist it is free to post ads.  Under the category of employment there is a section for film, that is where you will want your ad to be placed.
