Idea for global team tournament.

Question

I know most of you don't watch much soccer. But it has the Champions league. Which is a lot of teams fom deifferent European countries competing in a tournament.

Wouldn't it be sweet to have like a Global Basketball Tourney. Not all NBA teams would go. Maybe the final four of last seasons playoffs. Also say for example: 2 teams from greece 3 from Russia

3 fro italy and so on

Good Idea For The Popularity Of The Sport This One Of The Reasons Football (You Call It Soccer) Is Much More Popular Than Basketball World Wide And Something Like This Would Generate A Lot Of Cash Think Of Even Just The Merchandising And How Many Foreign fans Each Team Would Receive (Very Good Idea)

That's why they have the olympics. If your not good enough to play in FIBA or the olympics it saves the embarrassment of that country.

well most of the good players from other countries are in the nba already anyway so it wouldnt really be a competition..the nba teams would kill them
