Ideal volume on an ipod?

hey ... ive come across many articles lately on ipod related deafness n hearing probs ... what is the ideal volume to listen to on an ipod, if one listens for about 2 hrs daily ?? i usually have the volume set to a little more than half the ipod volume bar ... thx

Yeah, I heard about 60 as well. But obviously, less is better.

the max you should listen to is 60 decibels. which is approx 2/3 of the max volume.

hmm, i listen to half or below too, but one of my friend listens to it full max and it does my head in cause i can hear it across the room
