  1. get the act study books

  2. Many people interested in raising their ACT/SAT scores turn to trusted prep books like Princeton Review or Kaplan. These books offer practice tests that are either very similar in content to the actual test or a copy of a retired test. Some students also try test prep classes. My school offers an ACT/SAT prep course and you can find similar things online (for a fee). These books and classes can show you specific strategies for getting though the tests. Since the ACT and SAT are standardized, much of the material and format is fairly predictable. Getting to know the test is the best way (in my opinion) to score well and show colleges your commitment and potential.
