Ideas needed!?

Question

Long story but my holiday plans have fallen through, so have about £500-600 to spend on holiday abroad, with spending money on top of that. Need ideas as I will be solo now, and have a month off uni,that I don't want to waste hanging about in Scotland? all suggestions welcome!?

How about going to Sweeden?

there are many last minute deal going on offer. try looking up daily mail holiday offers for a start, teletext  holidays and even a trip to local travel agent will give you a good amount of ideas and openings to enjoy a holiday in nice places.

My goodness, you young 'uns don't realise how lucky you are!  *lol*  You live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world and you want to escape it?  Save your money and the environment by NOT flying abroad and go explore more of your own country.  Scotland is gorgeous and has so much to offer.  Granted you won't get as much for your money, but it will reward you in other ways, with breath-taking scenery, diverse and humorous people and fresh air.

Why not go to Toronto?  From the little I have seen and heard of it, it is really interesting, huge variety of cultures there, lots of shops and markets, 24-hour restaurants, close to Niagara Falls (awesome) and my favourite very laid-back church, TACF, near the Airport.  You would get a lot for you £££ too.  

Canadian Affair do some very cheap flights and hotel deals, tho not so cheap this time of year....weather-wise, it is probably hot and sticky right now, but Sept-early Oct is a nice time to go.

well i would suggest new york

you can hunt around for a pretty good deal on a flight and to make you money go further and to meet some great people as your flying solo now, i would suggest a backpackers hostel.
