Identify this pill?? Please help??

This pill is called Nortriptyline and it is a 25 mg pill. The pill is half green (The green part has the name on it) and half white. The white part says DAN 25mg. I need to know what this pill is used for? Please help!

Nortriptyline is in a group of drugs called tricyclic antidepressants. It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced. It is commonly used to treat symptoms of depression. Basically it Inhibits reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin in CNS. The are usually prescribed for people suffering from mild forms of depression and should never be taken without consult from a doctor.
