Im confused about my friends sexuality?

So Im in the closet and g*y and Im 18 and a senior in high school. i met this boy at my work, who now is a freshman at a local communtiy college like 25 mins away. we text all the time and hes never commented on a girl before. now: most of the texts detail a heart symbol or i love u..."i <3 u" or in spanish h**l tell me it too (only cuz i do it to him in spanish) so pretty much hes saying "im g*y im g*y im g*y! go out with me! (im in the closet). 2 things deter me from him being g*y. one is he seems like hes always busy and the second thing is this. i just sent him a text saying i wana give him a big fat kiss on the lips. his response was this: "lol ew". THATS IT! what the hey does that mean!?!?! am i missing something. hes flat out texted me he loves me on a daily basis!!!! i dont get it at all!!

If my boyfriend wrote that exact sentence to me I&#039;d say ew, too! It&#039;s not about sexuality, it&#039;s the words! Some people aren&#039;t into talking dirty (however tame it is hehe)

If you&#039;re unsure, you should ask him if he&#039;s g*y; but even if he is he might just be interested in playful flirting like you guys are doing now. He might just be finding himself, like you. It is good practice for you, and he might be a good, supportive friend to have when you do decide to come out of the closet. Enjoy the friendship!

hmm this is weird my guy friends dont rly say i love u they do at times but then no homo follows..so im not so sure..i think u shud just tlk to him like are u g*y? its embaressing but thats the only way u can get to the bottom of this and if he isnt then thats fine theres always other ppl

I have never sent texts to my guy friends with the &quot;&lt;3&quot; symbol in it before, nor have I ever gotten one. I think he might be g*y or maybe just really feminine. You never know, and you shouldn&#039;t make a move on him based on an assumption/guess. Just to be sure if he is, you can ask him seriously if he&#039;s g*y or not. If you don&#039;t want to be that direct, ask him if he&#039;s had any girlfriends before, and if he&#039;s considering having one in the future/possibly marry, etc.
