  1. There is nothing to be worried about

  2. I was nervous too when I started high school too. If you find kids you know from JHS, you can stick together. You might get distracted from your nervousness when you find people you know.  If you feel uncomfortable, it'll go away sooner or later.  Meanwhile, you'll learn more about yourself.

  3. my school starts then too! i was a freshman last year. it's really fun. you should find out where your locker is meet a friend in the morning and you can go look around the school together. get a map(before school starts) and write you classes down on it. Our school has about 2,000 students and it might seem scary to start at such a big school but it will get less scary over time.

Don't be worried about your grades just study hard and do your homework as soon as you get it and don't let anyone class get over your head.

  4. Im gonna enter as a freshman on the 21st. its normal to be nervous, but most likely there is gonna be teachers there to help you around

  5. I'm also going into my freshmen year and i just cant wait for all the new friends and activities i can do. i will have the chance to make new friends and even bump up my social status from my incredably nerdy days of 8th grade. i remembered pie to 54 digets in like 3 weeks. i even took the most nerdy picture of myself possable and put it in my 8th grade slideshow. when i took the picture i didnt even notice my Pi poster was in the background. i just cant wait my school stunk and now im going to a huge school with new activities and new people to make friends with.

I just feel that expressing yourself will help you make the right friends and help you get through school.

  6. hehehe i rember when i was a freshman, and trust me i was really nervous! i was out of state from where i used to live so i was scared. But highschool is nothing more than JHS with a little bit more liberty, but a little more personal responsabilty (u really do have to respond for your actiions, staff and teachers start to treat you more like adults) and well we cant forget, a little bit more hw and a little bit more people.

But trust me if you take the right approach and start highschool with the idea to learn, but yet have some fun, these will be one of the funnest 4 years of ur teenage years. =D

myy highschool had 3600 students and it was kinda big..but dont worry about getting lost, everybody get losts the first dayss, (even some upperclassmen do, but they just do it so they can arrive a bit late lol!) but yhea dont worry about taht, the first week or so, the teachers will understand and theyll be glad to help you to ur next destination. Though they say that your grades in freshman year dont matter much, they kinda do. Try to get them as highhh as you can, cus when sohpmore and junior years come along, its really common for GPA's to drop. So dont slack off this year just cus its 9th grade, try to get good grades.

and last thing, be yourself. People know when ur faking it, and rember u are going to be there 4 years, and faking to be someone else for 4 years, wow, im to lazy to do that heheh but like i said its 4 years, so best to be your self, and enjoy evryminute of it =D

    g'luck

  7. don't worry about it every other freshman is gonna be nervous too! make sure you go to orientation so you know where to go... or if your school doesn't have one (or you don't go to it) try to get a map of your school from the office. if you need even more help then you could ask a teacher where to go (don't ask an upperclassman cuz they might point you in the wrong direction... lol). freshman year is easy as far as work goes so you don't have to worry too much about that, but try your best to make good grades cuz colleges look at them! just give it time and you'll get used to the new school, and it will feel completly normal after a few weeks!

    Good Luck!
