I got new speakers and a new in-dash deck in my car, heres whats going on.

These are my speakers:

And this is my deck:

The deck is 16 watts RMS x 4 channels and my speakers are 110 watts RMS. Would this cause diminished sound quality from the speakers? I am hearing some light crackling not unlike what you would hear from a turntable. The wires are all tight and the speakers are new. would installing an amp in my car make the speakers sound better and get rid of the crackling? Or is it more likely that the speakers are just bad?

  1. its probabbly that the speakers are poor quality you should try to solder all the connections, if you want good quality you should buy some sony speakers

  2. An AMP will clear up the sound and help to eliminate the cracks you are hearing.

  3. your power (red) wire is too close to your RCA wires (radio to speaker connection)

  4. You should get good gear
