  1. No.

It is now too late to prevent global warming as we are right into it. The melting of the polar cap, per example, has been irreversible since the mid 90's.

No one has panic, yet. But the addition of catastophic various global event in type, shape and intensity is rising fast. Hundred of thousands of humans have been affected by theses events. Millions more will be.

    Worse is ahead.

    Humanity now need to REACT.

WE HAVE to stop watching the wall and the ceilling as it fall on us. We need to do what can be done to save what is left of our ONLY habitat.

    NOW.

''The alien anthropologist admited they we're still perplex about eleminating every other reason for our sad dismise, they log in the only explanation left.......this specie has amused itself to death.''

    Have a nice day

  2. no, get a life

  3. You mean you wish to CONDUCT a POLL...

My answer is "no".  Man can not affect the climate today, tomorrow, 30 years from now, or 300 years from now.  Solar activity has caused the recent warming trend, just as it was responsible for ever other warming trend to date....and the planet is primarily blue.

  4. We should certainly be able to reduce the effect we contribute

  5. Actually you ask multiple questions so simple yes/no may not work...

Can humans prevent the effects of global warming? YES

Can we become "almost-completely" (which? this is like being "a little pregnant") green? YES

Can we become green in 30 years? NO

  6. If you want to take a pole, you should be on the g*y section.

  7. NO!

  8. No, we can't affect what is a natural cycle of the planet we live on.

  9. no. be realistic.

  10. no

  11. no  and no.

  12. You mean a "poll," right?

I don't think we can "almost completely become a green planet in the next 30 years" without (a) ending capitalism and (b) creating a better system to replace it, one that will not require endless growth, but that also won't create some of the terrible environmental & political problems that were associated with Russian Communism.

We're not going to do all that in just 30 years - so no.

Through capitalist "creative destruction" in which old industries are phased out and newer ones come into existence, though, I think we COULD do a lot to stop global warming in the next 30 years.

It would require massive investments in solar & wind & other kinds of renewable energy, big changes in energy efficiency, a global arrangement to stop the destruction of tropical rainforests, and probably the redesign of America's auto-centered transportation system.

Would require a lot of changes in the design and construction of factories, office buildings & houses, too - but I think it could be done.

  13. no,

it would take a lot longer than 30 years!!!
