Im planning on getting my ged?

but i have a practice boomi bought and iv heard that the practice books u buy in a store r actualy harder then the real test? does anyone know if thats true? i hope the ged is easy!

  1. the tests are what you would have learned in high school if you had actually attended class. I will tell you that they have changed in the past five years. There are less multiple choice questions now than before, and there is more emphasis on writing and comprehension skills. Practice writing complete paragraphs with a topic sentence and supporting sentences. Pay attention to punctuation and spelling. Be consistent in your thoughts and make sure that you have agreement between your subject and verb. If one is singular, make sure the verb is two. If one is past tense, make sure the other is also. And most of all, relax. It may not be easy, but read over what you write. If you take a pause in reading a sentence, there should probably be a comma there. If you are setting off a proper noun, such as the name of a person, there should be a comma there.


  2. If it is suppose to be equal to a high school diploma then you dont want or expect it to be easy, if it is too easy then it is useless.  and loses any value that it has,   so just study and go for it.  good luck
