Im using a 108 mpbs

Question

im using a 108 mpbs wireless pc card to try and connect my laptop the family computer to access the internet. i've created the profile and the card does connect to the router, it connects on channel 11. after a few seconds the software begins cycle through all the channels although they are not connecting to anything (the signal strength on the other channels is 1 red ball). due to this i'm am not able to connect to the internet. any ideas????
