I was wondering if i want to get it sponsored can i do it directly through the company or is it better to use an affiliate? I want to know which way would make more money.

I wonder how you people think of money before even knowing "how exactly you are going to provide VALUE to the customers/website visitors?". Please be honest & persistent , then only you can make money online.
