Imagine: a WORLD without WATER !!?

Question

My task in English is to give a short talk about this problem. I want to collect some ideas from you for my topic: A World without Water. How could it be? Can you imagine how we could live if one day there's no water more all over the world??

Give some features about this topic which refer to our environment and the acts of environmental protection!!

How could you convince your audience (by a short talk) of this problem "a World without WATER".

I hate, hate, hate, HATE, when teachers ask broad questions like this because the truth is

Without water we would not exist--AT ALL.

How can you even begin to explain that?

-did water just gradually disappear?

-could we have prevented this?

-or did water "just never exist"?

-is all the water too polluted to use?

Sigh.

Humans are mostly water anyway.

what's left of our bodies would kinda fall to the ground like dust.

"environmental protection" from what?

bwahahaha

--some aliens come in and are like

"let's jack their water"

and then it's like

poof.

Considering we as humans are made up from a  large percentage of water I think we'd be in some serious trouble....

Sales of cordial and umbrellas would plummet, goldfish would become an endangered species and NO ICE IN MY BOURBON!!!! AAARRGHHH!

There is no way we are going to b e a world without water, even if all of the water may be in glaciers and the oceans, and up in the sky.

What we could have is all of our water polluted so that it might be unsafe or unpleasant to drink.

Again, no way the scenario could happen. but if you were in the middle of a desert, or even parched farmland in a 7 year drought, you would look for water for a long time and not find it. That is an everyday reality for people in such areas.

...life cannot survive without water. Are you meaning fresh water or salt water? If there was absolutely no water, all living things would die within weeks.
