Question:

Implantation and Jogging....

This may be hard to answer, but I'm wondering if while waiting on implantation to happen if jogging could possibly disrupt the process. It seems logical to me that excessive jarring could hinder the embryo from getting a good "grasp" and may result in miscarriage. But maybe it's so tiny that this is not a possibility. I'd like to continue my jogging routine, but don't want to hurt my chances of implantation...does this make sense? Any opinions are appreciated!!

  1. Hello and Baby Dust first off...

I have wondered the same thing myself.  The only thing I can tell you that eases my mind about my routine is a story from a co-worker.  She is an avid runner and had just come off BC around this time last year thinking that she would need time for the BC to get out of her system before she would be able to conceive.  She continued her jogging routine and said that was how she knew she was pregnant because one morning she went for her usual jog and got sick.  She took a test and found out for sure.  She gave birth to her healthy baby girl this past April. So from her story I take it that continuing a jogging routine is okay and the only thing that may keep it from implanting would be if something else was wrong that would have caused it not to implant even if you weren't jogging.  Good luck I hope this helped!
