Question:

Implantation bleeding, whats it like?

my husband and i are trying to have a baby, i am bleeding right now.

i woke up with brown spots in my underwear, and now it only bleeds when i wipe.

i get cramps too, but this has happened for the past few days (this is day 3).

i start to bleed lightly and it stops.

i usually have light periods, and i'm sick right now: could that make it lighter? or is it implantation bleeding?

Thanks in advance. :)

  1. The only way to know is by where you're at in your cycle.  Implantation bleeding can start 5 days after ovulation (not the lh surge) and later.  Its usually starts a few days before af is due.

It's commonly brown spotting or very light amounts of red.

If your af is due now, it would be hard to tell since you normally have light periods and are sick.  But if af isn't due right now, it's possible that it's implantation.

Implantation cramping is very mild compared to af cramping.  Its more a nuasance and easy to ignore.  Women also can feel a pulling or fullness sensation caused by implanting.

  2. it sounds like too much bleeding to be just implantation bleeding, when it happens (sometimes it doesn't) it's mostly like spotting....

talk to your doctor if you keep bleeding or are in too much pain, you can also ask a doctor online for free for advice and find others going through similar situations, try fertilityties.com

    good luck!

  3. could be eithe ror wait for preganancy test
