Question:

Importing from Japan or Taiwan?

I would like to start importing some goods from Japan and Taiwan to Australia. I have never done any importing before, so any suggestion is welcome!

Q1: Do I ask my supplier to arrange a shipping or do I need to arrange it?

Q2: Do I need to prepare the custom documents to accompany the goods when they leave the origin? or do I need to have the documents ready for the Australian Customs here in Australia?

Q3: Do I need an Import License? or register anything to receive the goods?

Q4: Where can I find information about the packaging requirements in Australia?

Many thanks everyone!!

    2. The shipper can prepare them  Or a shipping agent can do it.

    3. Yes, a license is best.

Contact any shipper to get heir specifications.
