  1. I write their name and a caption about what's happening in the picture, if anything.

  2. With each picture or pictures if multiple on the same topic I journal the pictures. I answer the basic questions:

who are the people in the pictures

what is happening in the pictures

where is the pictures taking place

    when did this happen

  3. it depends on what photo it is.

for eg. if it's a photo of u n ur best friend, u don't have to write her name- u can just write-my sweetheart or my bosom friend or whatever. but if it's a class photo or a reunion photo-u can write the names of the ppl who r in that photo. in one of my scrapbooks, i had gone 4 a meeting n the speaker was so gud that i took a foto of the speaker n i pasted it i my scrapbuk n wrote her name under that.

but there was my b'day party foto in which i wrote b'day bash

so  u see, it depends n the foto n wat kind of scrapbook u r making.cuz if it is a travel scrapbok, then u obiviouslyhave to write the place n date n stuffs

  4. As the others have stated it is entirely up to you. You could write their names/captions all the way around the photo for a border effect. Or you could use mini stickers/3-D letters and include the subjects' names or the event in the title. A lot depends on the reason for the s'book. Is it just for you or is it a gift? People's memories tend to fade as time goes on, so it would be reasonable to add names or captions somewhere on the page. It helps to at least identify the event and the year on the first page or two.

  5. "Journaling" ( writing captions, names, feelings, places, or explanations) in a scrapbook can be anything and anywhere you want it to be.  Writing the names below the pic is one way - or you can make a journaling box ( 2 sheets of paper - with one being about a quarter of an inch larger than the other and glued on the back to shadow the one on the front) and write a small descriptive story or explanation of what is going on in the pic.  It's your scrapbook - do what you like. !

  6. Yes write their name and what everyones doing, when your 104 and you grandkida ask you who are the people in the picture with you, your not going to remember. Also if you should died you want people to tell what your life was like. Remember scrapbooks are forever. :) ----Good Day

  7. It really depends on what sort of page I'm making.  But, I always write the info on the backs of the pictures, in case someone wants to identify them after I'm gone.

If I'm making a page dedicated to a special event, like when my little girl caught her first fish, I include a journaling block with all the information, such as her name, age, the date, and the circumstances.

If I'm making pages just to show fun things like different summer activities, I'll usually just make a title with the year and something like "summer fun".
