In canon cameras..?

whats the most affordable [proffesional] yet good one out there my budget is around 120$ im just a teen so am not looking to be buying a thousand dollar camera but not the small digital kind the larger more proffesional sort you know good lens focus any clue?

Anything from Canon will give you a good head-start, but most will start a little higher than the price you mentioned (at least up here in Canada). Nikon also has a few of their L-series cameras that would work quite well and give some decent options.

If you're not opposed to a slightly older camera or paying slightly more than what range you've given yourself, check out Nikon's P50 camera. It gives you a little bit of a wider angle (can see more when zoomed right back), VR (vibration reduction, helps keep your shots steady), and still gives you room to expand into photography with manual options. And what's more, it runs on AA batteries, giving you flexibility for either getting long-lasting rechargable/lithium batteries, or running to the corner store and grabbing a set of alkaline AA batteries in a pinch.

Sorry, you can't get a " professional" camera for that price, the chepest pro. camera, from nikon, the d3, is 4,999$, which isn't cheap in any respect. The most expensive, from hassleblad is around 30,000$, which isn't a cheap camera either. Unfortunately, the cheapest amateur DSLR is around 377$, body only, and around 430$, with a lens, which you must have to take pictures. So any pro. camera for that price must be ruled out.

You can't get that much of a decent camera for that price either, perhaps something with six or seven megapixels, like from canon, like you were orginally talking about. Perhaps something like the canon powershot a560, they have more lovely ones, like the canon powershot a570IS for 30$ more, which isn't that bad. 120$ isn't a good budget in the world of pro/ or family photography.

All you have to do, is save up some more money, perhaps to around 200$, which shouldn't be that long, it's summer, and you can get a job. You can't get anything " pro " at that price, so sorry ::P.

Those are some good, user friendly ones.

oh, you might be able to by a film SLR on ebay.com, they're professional cameras from the olden days, but they are still socially accepted in the world of photography.

Amateur DSLR's start around $500

You can get a decent Canon, under $200, but it is by no means "professional"

What everyone's saying is jumble! I'm going into highschool and I work with a 600 dollar CANON REBEL XTI... what you are looking for is a canon sd1000 which is a little under 100 which takes beautiful shots [as long as you know how] and is a great size. It has great effects too. or some of the new cameras are like 300 dollars, but don't let them fool you it's not really taht much better then the 100 dollar canon. keep in mind- canon.
