  1. Why go to a website when you can talk to me.

  2. go to lakedistrict.co.uk or try piczo become a member which is free and see some nice parts of the uk to visit

  3. Not that I'm prejudiced, but help yourself to lots of pictures of Cornwall: (URL1)  I'm within 1/2 a mile of the church at Altarnun.

For the rest of the UK,  URL2, click on a county and use the "in pictures" option about a third of the way down the left-hand side.

  4. I adore the UK too, I think the British people are just amazing. I love them so much.

  5. I don't think any websites exist for Anglophiles but you will be able to get pictures for the English Tourist Board website (Scottish/Welsh tourist boards). It very much depends what you want to talk to British people about. There are various chat rooms but you really need to narrow your field of interest.

Alan Y. York was never the capital of England, Richard II had plans to make it so but it didn't happen. On the other hand Colchester was the Capital of Romab Britain.

  6. I live in the Country, at least we have a democratic government system, also guns are banned! which I'm strictly glad of.

  7. How nice to know that you like our country so much.  Here are some web sites which will tell you about our country.  I have added some more details for you. If you want to talk to people who live here then why not use one of the many networking sites?

Although we are a small country there are lots of areas all with their own attractions and scenery.

  8. It is good to hear you like the UK.  I don't know about any websites where you could chat to any of us.  I do know that if you search for the name of a town or city they will probably have a website and some pictures of the main features of that town or city.  Try Birmingham in the UK, its got more canals than Venice.  Peterborough, it got a lovely cathedral.  York, it was the capital of England 100s of years ago, not sure what year London became the capital.  I suppose what you really need is a map of the UK in order to know the names of places to look for.

    All the best.
