In your expierience?

My 15 year old son refuses to wear a protective cup for soccer, (he is the goalie). The reason he gives is because he is a tough man, and can take one in the "family jewels". I'm not a man but I always believed that no man could take a hard hit there. What will happen if he takes a hard hit? Will he be able to just shake it off like he says?

Imagine the worst cramps you have ever had with your period. Multiply that by about 100. That is what it feels like for guys to geta hard hit there. Believe me, a soccer ball to that area could be unbearably painful and take him out of the game. He could even end up sterile. Tell him to stop being to egotistical and wear the gosh darn cup.

Rupturing a t******e is not something you take like a man. It can cost you your grandchildren. Stay on it, he's a foo' for not wearing a cup.
