Increasing dose of cipralex?

I am just about to increase dose from 10mg to 20mg, the meds are working but I am not where I want to be with my depression and my GP has suggested I increase the dose, but has left the decision to me. Trouble is had bad anxiety, agitation when I started teh meds and do not want to go through those side effects again although they may have been just the depression and not side effects. Has anyone else increased dose and did you get the same side effects as when you started the meds.

I have been taking Citalopram (a very similar form of Cipralex) for about 6 years and i also had the awful agitation when I started, but believe me it DOES pass. I am now on the maximum dose of 60mg and although I am sensitive to meds, this is the one I found easiest to tolerate. Stick with it - the side effects do pass!
