-How do you hunt (slayer, researcher, ect.)? [mainly looking for slayers]

-How long have you been hunting?

-How often do you hunt? Basically is hunting a hobby or is your job more of the hobby? lol.

I would probably sooner walk with, what you want to slay. But if that is the Field you want to follow. First off don't agree to meet any one. It could always be a trap. The hunted have Internet too. And are not as stupid as the movies make them to be. They also look normal until it is to late.

I don't know what a slayer is( Buffy?)!  I have experienced ghosts all my life.  I work with a group of investigators of odd things, ghosts, spirits, just about anything that is out there, I like cryptozoology stuff.  Mostly haunted homes and buildings.

I use a lot of technical equipment to analyze the areas we investigate, cameras, field energy monitoring, ultraviolet and infrared lighting to extend camera sensitivity, audio monitoring, temperature monitoring, radiation monitoring.  

I also fill in as a psychic on some investigations, I see ghost more then most people,  I hear ghosts talking at times, and can smell ghost smells.

My main job is to work the equipment and analyze what we get.  The rest of the time I take lots of pictures.

We work when we get a investigation request.  

I have been working with this group for about 2+ years now.

I have been hunting ghosts from  my early teens.  I'm 57  now, male.  

Our group trains people all the time, and work in pairs or in small groups.

I'm rather curious as to what you've found to slay.  Sounds like you might have been watching a bit too much Buffy.  Although I must admit, Buffy sounds like a good distraction right now.

I've been doing this for a few years now mainly on my own or with my partner and groups.

Now that you have an interest - I would start to build your library of relevant books - and read them. (some good starting points mentioned already)

Firstly - congratulations on realising there is more going on than most people can see. This is also making things more hazardous for you - because now you have to be aware of other people/ spirits.

To add to your reading list is a few books on Psivamps - yes vampires exist in two forms. The most common don't even know they need something from you - they just take it - leaving you tired and hungry. This is the psychic vampire. A few recognise it and actively persue it. The other does have a craving for blood, but mostly keep themselves to themselves by mutual consent- and don't kill anyone.

I would read up on paranormal books and just enjoy Buffy for what it is.

I am Undertaker.  I have been investigating paranormal for 8 years and have never, to this day, heard o SLAYING.  Whatever it is, more power to you.  I will stick to ivestigating the existance or spirits and trying to communicate with them to hear their stories.  It is a hobby for me, but it does consume my life.  Happily.  As for teaching you, I am unsure.  You seem like someone who just resently became interested in this subject and are jumpingin over your head.  Step back and understand soe more of this subject before you go looking for these things.  Feel free to email me anytime at    [e-mail]

I'm not sure what you slay, unless you mean the rodents in the wall making noise.

I research and investigate hauntings and spirits, and whatever else the case might lead to. More often then not

I find nothing and refer them to a repairman.

I have been researching the paranormal almost 20 years and been investigating for about 4 years.

Investigating is a hobby no one that I know does it full time however it does take alot of time with the research and histories, then after an investigation going over everthing 2 or more times, then more research.

I do not have  an investigative calender. I  investigate on a needed basis and do a little extra while training others.

The best way to learn, is not to get a teacher first, but instead educate yourself. Read a lot books like

Trust me it takes a bunch of time I am 31 years old and have 3 little ones most of my stuff is done after 8:30 at night.

You still sound fairly young so it is probably best for you to read as much as you can.
