Indian johns security method?

what does everybody think of indianjohns security method?he shot and killed a guy for messing with his bike,and then making the mistake of pulling a knife when confronted,how many people would do the same?

count me in as his #1 fan.

I wouldnt be that drastic but id clubber anyone trying to steal my bike with a any weapon preferably a crobbar wrapped in barbed wire

In all seriousness, I don't know what I would do in that situation.  I had a bike stolen once and was no where around at the time to defend it...it's a f**ked up feeling to have one ripped off.

You do what works for you. I probably would have opted for crippling instead of killing, that way the lesson is learned everyday.

I am not a proponent of taking a human life or keeping firearms in my residence. That said; if someone comes onto my property with the intent of stealing my property and/or doing harm to my myself or my family they are going to be in for a very nasty experience. You see, I have a 160 pound Cane Corso that I am boarding in the country for my son. "RJ" does not take kindly to threats of any sort. I have him because he killed a Bull Mastiff in the city and I seriously doubt that an intruder would be a problem for him.

Indian John did what he had to do and I have every confidence that "RJ" would too. Now, what was that command to pull him off; I seem to have forgotten it.

It took me a few to find out what you where talking about.

If someone came in to my home that did not belong there. I would kill them. In Texas if someone comes in your home after dark that was not invited you have the legal right to shoot them dead. You will be arrested and just in jail. It will be investigated and the charges are normal dropped. The court will normal make you go to see a head doc. It is not as ez as you think to take a life. So they want to make sure your OK in the head.

I disagree mostly...

if he felt his life was in danger, then yes, lethal force is warranted...

if he shot a guy for trying to steal his bike only, then no, i don't feel a motorcycle is worth a man's life...

worth his leg maybe, I'd have shot him in the knee cap...

I'm not judging what he did per se, i think he's a decent guy, but i may disagree with his methods..

i was d**n near charged when i beat a guy for breaking into my car to steal it's stereo.

i do think that the whole thing was probably still rough on johnny to have to do, so i don't know if this whole thing would be a comfortable discussion.  yes, my hat is most definitely off to him.  at least i got to take pleasure in beating the guy's *** when i went through something similar, i don't know if johnny could say he got to take pleasure in what he had to do

I dont know the whole story. Its really hard to say what i would do in that situation. I dont think anybody knows unless their in it. All i know, is im very glad my Johnny is ok. I feel really bad that he has to live with that. He might play like it doesnt bother him, but i know it does. Johnny, ill always be here for you if you need. I told you that before.  Oh and maddog, Please dont think thats the answer to everything. Hate is such a heavy load to carry and there are no winners in this.

In  Pasadena, Texas, a man shot and killed two wets who were breaking into his *neighbor's house. LULAC screamed when the judge turned him loose.  Folks are tired of being victimized and having their government protect the  scum.

Sister tells me that in New Mexico, people are becoming more likely to shoot to kill because there's less legal hassle.
