  1. The first answer does not explain how to simplify the expression. Simply add the indices of the quantities that are multiplied together and subtract the index (or indices) that are dividing it.

    Then 5 + 3 - 2 = 6 and the expression becomes 3^6 = 729


  2. 3^(5+3-2) = 3^6
