Indonesian economy?

Question

What is the state of the indonesian economy? any socialist views would be greatly appreciated. just hyperlinks to pages is fine, but info is also good.

i could do with a history thing if possible. thanks :)

The Indonesian economy is mostly controlled by the government in most fields. They have been living on assistance from the USA since the 1950s, mostly from the USAID, US Agency for international development and some private charities.
