Indonesian vs Malaysian cuisine?

What are the differences? I think the food is very similar and they even have lots of common dishes.

This is a very interesting question!  They are similar cuisines,

hope these websites will help.  Indonesia is a former Dutch colony, Malaysia was not.  But I think Indonesia had more influence on Dutch cuisine than the other way around.
