  1. hi you can get one from asda its17.97 but cant rember what its called. it picks all my channels up on freebox in bedroom. it must be good because i cant get sky where i live.

  2. Argos,Currys and Comet have a good selection. The digital signal is presently at less than half strength,so an indoor aerial might be inadequate, depending on your area.

You  do realise,a set top box is needed to pick up the digital channels,of course.

  3. Firstly i would recomend a signal booster (£14.99 from Argos), then add on a freeview box, unless u have one already, then a normal arial (any) as the booster will boost the signal the aerial recieves and u should pick up loads of freeview tv and radio channels. Id say its the cheapest thing to do rather than fiddle around with an aerial and get fuzzy pics!

  4. An independent research organisation was asked by the British government to test indoor aerials in the run up to the Digital Switchover. You can see their recommendations for which aerial is best here: http://www.ricability-digitaltv.org.uk/

You should note though, that indoor aerials are not gauranteed to give a good result with digital tv. If you are in a strong signal area you may be lucky though.

As the recommended aerial is relatively cheap, it is probably ok to buy one to test.

Also, note that a booster will only make a weak good  signal stronger. If you have a bad signal it will make it worse.
