what are the social classes (in order ..if you can) for the Indus Valley Civilization

  1. If I remember correctly, indus Valley is said to have had a vast Middle Class society. It was rigid, class-conscious, tradition-bound .

    Harappan society was dominated by a powerful priestly class that ruled and dominated social structures, and political systems.

    There was a strong Trader class; Merchants who sailed far and wide and traded with Messopotamia, Egypt and such far off places.

    Then there were the Farmers followed by craftsmen and artisans. They had some of the best and prettiest crfts that can compete with modern ages.
