  1. It can take a very long time for your body to adjust after depo. provera. For some maybe not as long. The depo shot makes your body not ovulate. So when you stop getting shots your body has to begin to ovulate again and produce all the right hormones to make that happen. Depo isn't generally a favored birth control before having kids because it does take so long to come off. Some people don't ovulate/get there periods for 3-6 months and then when they finally get there period it last for weeks. So when it comes back it prolly unfortunetly wont be regular.. maybe it might though but for most thats not the case. Try to stay positive! and try fertiliy monitoring like Basal body tremperature, cervix position and cervical mucus, Ovulation Predictor kits, charting..etc. Hope this helped!!

  2. Im only answering this because i was on the depo shot and they told me i could get pregnant within a year after i stopped the shot. I wasnt able to get pregnant for 3 1/2 years . My first pregnancy i had a miscarriage and now i am 34 weeks pregnant.
