Information about Madrid?

Question

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Madrid by the end of September. Can you advise some interesting places to see, restaurants, bars...etc.

Please note that we both are huge fans of Real Madrid so any info ref. to the team will be more than welcomed!

I suggest the Plaza De Toros de Madrid. They still have bullfights and if they are not having a fight it is an awesome structure full of history and stories.  It is also easy to find because it is in the center of town.  If you have ever read any Hemingway, it is the location of a few of the fights in "The Sun Also Rises."
