  2. 1. Why not, open yourself up to different cultures and countries. Any new experience is a good one.

    2. Way too many to list. Theres Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland as the most popular tourist places. Theres also Outback Australia, definitly an experience.

    See http://www.tq.com.au http://www.sydney.com.au http://www.visitmelbourne.com

    3. Australia has all different weather as the country is so diverse. Summer in the northern states experience tropical weather and boiling hot days, the southern states have comfortable days 20-35C on average. Winter the northern states stay warm, around 20Cs. Southern states are more mild to cool and cold at night.

We don't experience much extreme weather in Australia, ie. it only snows at designed snow fields up the mountains, few cyclones up far north, occasional heat waves and cold blasts.

    4. Clothes relevant to the season, camera, money, sense of humour, a fun friendly personality.

    5. Each capital city has loads of hotels and apartment and hostels, there is something to suit everyone from $40 - $500 per night. City wise, I recommend Sydney and Melbourne and the Gold Coast if you have time.

    6. Food, we eat the same as the rest of the world. Australia is very multicultural so we eat many different cultural dishes. Some Australia things to try are: Meat pie, BBQ, Vegemite, Tim Tams, lamingtons, pavlova, sausage rolls.

    7. Souveniers - koalas, kangaroos, tim tam's and anything that interests you.

    8. Australia uses decimal currency.. Dollars and Cents.

Sydney is the tourist capital of Australia. It has iconic places of interest i.e Sydney Opera House, the Harbour bridge, Darling Harbour, Sydney tower etc.

    3 Summer - usually around 27-35 celcius

Winter - usually around 10-20 celcius

Spring and Autumn - high teen - low 20s celcius.

4 Normal travel gear. Clothes, money etc

5 If you can stay in the city of Sydney they have nice hotels. If you're on a budget, google accomodation around australia.

6 Iconic Australian things to eat are Lamingtons, meat pies, sausage rolls and definately try vegimite (spread you put on toast or a sandwich). Not many non-australians like it though.

7 Souveneirs would be boomerangs, didgeridoos (aboriginal musical instrument), toys of koalas, kangaroos, platipus' etc.

8 AU dollar. Someones already posted links to these but you could do a google search anyway.
