Insane..............?

Question

am i insane?

-iv'e spent a week in a mental hospital at 15

-i seriously consider mudering my parents

-i am consently picturing disaturs [car crashing, killing, deaths ect...]

-i suffer from

--add

--ocd

--mild paranoida

--panic disordor

--anxity

--depression

Your not insane, you just have a mental disorder, or lots of mental disorders.  Do you see a therapist now?  If this is how you are feeling, than you probably should.....

Hmm, I wonder if your grammar mistakes and your spelling errors are a symptom of your various mental illnesses.

Now, tell me this--are these actual dianoses of proper medical professionals or are these your 'guestimates' or self-diagnoses?

I have a feeling these are self-diagnoses because normally symptoms associated with Generalized Anxiety Disorder are mild depression, obsessive compulsions and paranoia.

Nope, not insane.  You need to be totally out of touch with reality to be a member of that club.  What you do have are some mental disorders, some of which you probably can work out with a good therapist if you are willing to seriously work with the therapist.  It's a lot harder than it sounds.  Others, meh, maybe you'll need meds or maybe you'll learn to compensate or maybe they'll fade away as you age.  I'm not at all trying to down play what you are going through!  I just know that sometimes I can feel like the world is crashing in when the only thing crashing is my perspective... and mood.  I have bipolar and a few other disorders, too.

     2) An insane person would not look for answers.

      Therefore, you are not insane.

      You have a real mixed bag of things to deal with. I truly hope you can find a shrink that can help you deal with this stuff. Good luck:)
