Insider Tips to London??

I am studying abroad in london for about six weeks and was wondering what some of the best little known spots to visit.

I have been there before and have already seen a lot of the main tourist attractions...

any ideas of cheap not well known things to do?

Hmm.... walking along the canals; some of them are reputed to be quite nice --> see "Little Venice": just type "Maida Vale" into wikipedia, yahoo won't let me post the link (again!)

Brick lane and shoreditch are good for bars and restaurants.  The 02 has a good nightclub and places to eat.  Greenwich park is nice for a picnic.
