I bought an Insignia NS-4v24 4 gig MP3 player a few days ago and I have started to sync music that I ripped to Windows Media Player on Windows XP. I synced about 185 files, but now I am getting a sync error code C00D1236 on any additional files I try to sync. The device says that I have 2.7 gig of space left, so I do not see how space is the problem. Windows Media Player help pretty much says there are a variety of problems that can cause this error. I checked out the one suggestion help provided to see if the files in error were hidden, which they are not. Most of the music that is failing came from CDs that I ripped only yesterday. These are real CDs, not pirated copies.Any ideas?
