can any diabetics out there share with me their above answers?

mine : ACTRAPID breakfast/lunch/dinner :10/10/10

INSULATARD : 12

my weight : 53kg

height :155

i think i'm overweight, and i wna loose some weight,

can anyone/ any diabetic/dietition, give me ideas,

foods for breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks??

Glenda is gonna end up getting reported for trying to drum up business here for her products.  Herbal remedies can be very dangerous, and don't work, they don't cure or control diabetes, they are scams, just ways to make money from people with disease.

A diabetic diet can consist of the foods you normally eat, but just in small portions.  Normally we watch the carb content and try to limit the amount of carbs in our diet.  Most nutritionists will tell you to make your meals no more than 45 grams of carbs per meal.  You can have 2 daily snacks that are 15 grams of carbs each.  You will have to learn to count carbs, obviously.  Or you can use the South Beach Diet.  Many nutritionists recommend this particular diet because it is safe, and easy to follow.  It will give you lists of things you can and cannot eat, teaches good and bad carbs, the importance of protien and fiber in the diet, and has some recipes.  Just skip phase 1 and start with phase 2.  You may actually reduce the amount of insulin you have to use by following this diet.  Most of the time we are told to stay away from white bread and anything made with white flour, including pastas, no white potatoes, or white rice.  If you learn to count carbs, you can still eat these things, just in small amounts.  Sign up for a few diabetic educational classes. You will learn a lot about nutrition and the disease, and you can ask questions.  I have found that MANY of the diabetes websites are outdated, and many of the forums and blogs have information that is totally wrong and is given by people that don't really know what they are talking about.  Not all of them are that bad, but there are some doozies.
