Installed dishwaher no water entering?

Question

Installed a dishwasher and it will not cycle. No water is getting to the machine. The water line is hooked up and the drain line also. Please give me reasons why the dishwasher is not working. Thanks

it would almost have to be the water valve  for the line going into the dishwasher,

Is the power turned on as well as the water? Can't work without either.

Turn on the valve under sink..........after that not sure....might be a knockout someplace........but I wouldn't think so.......sorry There's a knock out in the disposal........you should have read about that in the directions.......

did you turn the water valve back on under the sink? i know it sounds obvious but it's the first thing i would check.
