Integrated Recption Systems for appartments?

I was wondering if some one could give me any idea of on a price for a communial sattelite and digital tv system. I have converted a building into 18 flats and would like them setting up to receive freeview + sky. all cables are in just need the rest doing. has any one had this sort of work done before a roughly what price should i look to pay to have this done. Have had a couple of quotes but not sure if they are a bit pricey.

I really don't know why you're asking us this question, you should ask hotels...they would be more knowledgeable about costs....same with the satellite providers.

And it really depends on how you handle the setup....

You can power the satellite and have each lessee Rent their own box from the satellite company, and all you would have to buy is the dish, LNB, and the power supply to drive the LNB....you would probably need a distribution amp designed for the Intermediate Frequency band (70 MHZ? 110 MHZ?) to deliver all channels to all flats....

But that's the cheapest way to provide Satellite to the renters...

If you attempt to deliver all channels without the box to your renters, you will incur massive costs on converters, adders, and distribution amps....

And all that maintenance you will have !

Don't do it that way.....Keep your investment simple.
