If I minor in econ can I still have successful internship in a firm? Or do they prefer majoring in it?

What dose an intern do? Get coffee for the workers?

  1. Internships depend upon the company that you work at.

Though I will tell you, that while there is a lot of coffee getting (in my case, it was Red Bull), economy restrictions mean that you'll probably be getting more responsibility.

If you show a genuine interest in the field, and have good qualifications otherwise, it shouldn't matter if you have a major or minor. I've actually gotten an internship after I graduated from college, so it shouldn't make a huge difference if you're good.
