Internet Cafes in Ireland....?

Question

Im looking for Internet cafes that have computers for people to use. Im going to be taking lots of pics and want to upload them to a photo server to get them printed. The computer would need to have an xd card slot too.

Try conecting your usb cable and connecting it that way or you could use a kiosk called kodak quick print wich you will find in most airports and photo shops, they take most cards but you do have to pay but i dont know if its by cash or card.

You could bring your usb cord for your camera, but i don't know if any would have an x-d slot. Because I was unsure, I just took many memory cards to Ireland, and was perfectly fine. There are internet cafes all over, but they are also expensive and VERY slow

If you want to print photos while in Ireland, Matt is right: drop into a camera shop with your memory stick.

The Kodak photo kiosks do take XD cards. Here in the Irish midlands the machines are not plugged into the credit card network, they just print a receipt that you bring to the main counter to pay for there. Most shops accept ATM and credit cards.

If you want to upload your photos to the net you could have issues. Due to fear of viruses, some internet cafes do not allow you to plug in external drives, memory cards or USB sticks. Also, the Fuji XD format is not a popular mem stick format here, so finding a card reader in Ireland might be tricky.

If I were you I'd bring my USB cable with my camera and you might find an internet cafe that will let you plug it in.

If they won't, just go to one of the photo kiosks, have it burn a CD of your photos and then return to the cafe and upload your photos from that CD. Plus, then you have an archive of your photos on CD in case you want to print them again.

There's plenty of Internet cafés throughout Ireland.  There everywhere in Dublin.  I know of a chipper that has three workstations.

I wouldn't think PCs at the cafés would have xD-Picture Cards, but just bring your camera and the USB cable.
