  1. IE8 is only available in beta version just now.

If you are asking questions on here about it I would advise you to leave it alone until Microsoft do an official release.

  2. As Internet Explorer 8 hasn't officially been released yet, and is only available for beta testing, I would highly recommend that you stick to Internet Explorer 7 until it comes out.

  3. Forget IE8, try Mozilla Firefox!

  4. Make sure you have service pack 1 and that your computer is fully up to date. If Vista still won t let it on then it s trying to protect you from some kind of clash that may happen if you do. Remember that windows has to work on so many types of hardware. Microsoft may not let you have it until the final release in november.

  5. IE8 is out?  (shweet)

It seems to be just a beta so: you should re port your problems.

There are also two types of vista "x32" and "x64" so maybe that is it?

  6. Maybe its your windows defender that is blocking it, try turning it off and then upgrade or maybe IE8 isn't actually compatible at all.

XP or ubuntu is better than vista.

Ubuntu is virus free and its free as well.

  7. i must admit, windows vista is seriously c**p. not to be rude, but in terms of compatibility and satisfaction, it is still not up to the standards. people who use the good old windows xp are better off. vista i guess will take a few more years until it comes out perfect

  8. No need to upgrade. I'm happy with IE 7 or whatever version I'm currently using. The newer versions only make your computer lag more and uses more memory. So stick with IE 7 or something. You shouldn't upgrade to IE 8 since there might be bugs with it. So wait until it's more stable then upgrade if you want.
