Internet explorer 7 EMERGENCY!!?

had up dates so downloaded them it was Internet explorer 7 now i get a connection but cannot go to any web sites, message says web page not found ect. am unable to do a restore am unable to backup windows. we can receive emails on out look express( have not tried to send email) last but not least we do not have a backup and Internet explorer 6 is gone. HELP we need to get orders from company web site.

Don't use 7. Use the IE 8 beta.

Go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927177 for the article on how to uninstall IE7.  You should get back your IE6
