Internet radio fees?

I am trying to start an Internet radio station, there will be no money made from this at all, it is just because I love to DJ for my friends. Will I need to pay any fees? I know people who play music live and they have to ask for a donation to get into the concert so they don't have to pay any fees. Is there something like this for internet radio?
