Interviewer ???

who interviews me? the manager? manager assistant? or is there a person who does interviews only in a company?

If it is your first round interview it could be just HR or HR and a manager. Second round interviews are always manager involved and possible the higher ups.

It depends on the company.  Sometimes it is HR.  Sometimes it is a group interview, I find that very intimidating by the way.  It could be the owner, the manager or you could have several interviews.

every company does it a little bit different - the larger the company the more formal it becomes -

in a small company - you may be interviewed only by the owner

in a large company - you may be first interviewed by someone in HR - then by the hiring (department) manager -

and possibly by several supervisors - other department managers - and even some potential co-workers
