Is there a way to convert a youtube video directly to your ipod?

There's a huge problem there. Youtube video's are FLASH. So follow these directions precicely to do this.

1. Download Youripper

2. Save the video you want using Youripper.

3. Buy a program called AVS Video Converter Software or find a free Video Converter software... if you do give me a holler I looked for a week. AVS is really great though.

4. NOTE This program you get will allow you to flash videos like the ones on youtube into a regular vid for Media Player or something.

5. Convert it into a MOV file.

6. Now, you should be able to import this video on Itunes.

7. To import click File, Import

I'm Pretty sure that you'd have to message the person who made that video and ask them for the video file off of their computer and have them email it to you. Then you can just transfer the file from the email to your hard drive/ desktop then open it and transfer it to iTunes.

An Alternative is that if you utilize a download program (Limewire, uTorrent ,ect.) and the video is well known, you may be able to find it on one of the programs. All that would be left to do is to locate it on your Computer (usually download program will have a shared link which will take you right to the file)  and open it with iTunes.

Please note that downloading any media file put on an iPod is considered illegal if not downloaded from iTunes. I will not be held responsible if you were to have been caught using either of these methods of media transfer and have simply informed you of the most efficient method and explanation for your question.

Well I have a zune. But basically its the same. I use Orbit Downloader to pull .flv's from youtube. Download here http://www.orbitdownloader.com/download.... . Then I convert the video using Super. Download here. http://www.erightsoft.info/GetFile.php?S... . And then I sync it to my zune.  You can select video types u want to convert it to. Like Ipod.

yes there is a way and it is very easy.
