Ipod stuck in recovery mode?

updated my ipod touch to 2.0.2 and whilst installing an error occured and it was put into recovery mode. Now it says i need to restore it but when i click restore it says i have an error code 6 and it will not restore. what can i do???

Just press the center and menu button at the same time while it's on 'til it resets itself. If that doesn't work then you'll vahe to call 1-800 APL-CARE

press the power and home button at the same time until the itunes doesn't recognize it.......
