Ipod ton of problems help!!!!!?

Question

my new 30 gb ipod 5.5 generation and here are some problems

every time i hook it up to anything it does not let me go into anything it just says donot disconect

it freezes every once in a while

and the battery does not last as long as it says like it says full charge and only lasts like 2 hours and am only listsening to music

i have restored it many times nothing happens still the same

i think that Apple wants you to upgrade.

Take a back to apple and tell them to fix it

1 & 2.) Try this: with your iPod connected to the computer, hold down the centre+menu buttons, when the Apple logo lights up hold down the centre+play buttons to force it into disk-mode. If successful restore through iTunes.

3.) You just need a new battery. http://www.ifixit.com sells them batteries for all iPods for 15 bucks and they are extremely easy to install.

try resetting it press the menu and the center buttons at the same time until the apple appears
