Ipod touch to soon be cheaper?

I heard a rumor that within the next 2 weeks the ipod touch should be cheaper than it currently is. Can anyone confirm this? I have already seen kevin rose's video or whatever his name is. Thanks.

for most of you that haven't realized this yet all tech becomes cheaper overtime but apple stuff stay relatively expensive because ur paying for designer plastic

most of the other brands become cheaper extremely quickly apple's days would be dated but dumb people who like to be trendy go and buy macs w/e

Well, I haven't heard anything of the sort, but there have been rumors of new iPods coming out soon. Maybe you could ask for an iPod touch for Christmas, and see how things play out till then.
